So many moms are screaming—inside and out.

Because they’re carrying too much and getting too little support—feeling like they are drowning and exploding at the same time. They’re overwhelmed, exhausted, and filled with guilt about their anger.  But Mom Rage isn’t a personal failure. It’s a signal that something deeper needs attention.

Why This Matters in My Work

Over time, I noticed a pattern: no matter what brought someone to therapy, anger and resentment were often right beneath the surface. What began as a recurring theme in my sessions grew into a professional focus. I started researching, writing, and speaking about Mom Rage—helping to name something that so many women were silently struggling with.

So much of my clinical work centers around the inner worlds of mothers—their identities, relationships, mental health, and the pressures that shape their daily lives.

  • In the therapy room, I help mothers explore the roots of their anger, build emotional regulation skills, and reconnect with themselves.

  • As a consultant, I work with clinicians, organizations, and workplaces to deepen understanding and compassion around maternal mental health and systemic contributors to Mom Rage.

  • As a speaker, I present at conferences and trainings on the psychology and cultural context of maternal anger.

  • And as part of ongoing academic research, I collaborate with others to study how anger manifests and what healing truly looks like for mothers today.
